“Sana Bukas Pa” finale trends on social media

MANILA – The finale of “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” starred by Bea Alonzo and Paulo Avelino became the center of attention on social media on Friday evening.

Thousand of social media users took to the microblogging site Twitter to air their reactions regarding the action-packed finale. The show featured the story of businesswoman Rose Buenavista (Alonzo) and Patrick Salvador (Paulo).

Many appreciated the chemistry between Avelino and Alonzo and the happy ending that showed them marrying each other again.

In the series, Alonzo had to pretend to have died in a car accident in order to find the true killer of her father.

Right after the wedding between Rose and Patrick, the hashtag “#SBPAK1Self,” trended and landed in the number one spot of the worldwide trends of Twitter.
