Pieces of jewelry retrieved from suspect in killing of Picache’s mom
MANILA – Pieces of jewelry believed to be owned by slay victim Zenaida Sision, mother of actress Cherry Pie Picache, were found in a black bag retrieved from 29-year-old primary suspect Michael Dy Flores.
Flores was arrested by the police around 12:05 midnight Wednesday morning in Sta. Rosa, Laguna after he trespassed into a house at Garden Villas 3 Subdivison in Barangay (village) Malusak to hide.
The house owner decided to call the police which led to the arrest of the suspect.
The information was indicated in a memorandum sent to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) district director Chief Superintendent Richard Albano.
Flores, who was captured by the QCPD operatives, went on hiding since the killing on September 19.
Overwhelmed with the arrest, Picache posted a message on her Instagram account expressing thanks to all who made the arrest possible.
She said: In behalf of my family, ang aming taos pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng tulong ninyo!!!
