Husband and wife sex video scheme uncovered by NBI

MANILA – A man charged with pimping his own wife out for the production of sex videos was arrested on Friday by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

The illegal activity was discovered by the NBI after the couple posted an online advertisement for their “services,” offering sex videos the client could make with the wife for a fee of P30, 000.

NBI officials recovered P15,000 in marked money from the husband, which undercover agents had paid him in a sting operation as downpayment for the video.

The husband said that they had seen a similar advertisement online, which gave them the idea to start their own “business” in order to earn extra income to support their three children.

He also said that they had not been engaged in the illegal activity for a long period of time.

It was unclear as to whether the wife’s involvement was voluntary or forced upon her.

A digital camera containing nude pictures of the wife was confiscated from the husband.

Authorities said the husband will be charged  with qualified human trafficking, and added that they have yet to determine whether or not to file charges against the wife.
