Hwy. 403 crash claims life of Brantford, Ont., woman
ANCASTER, Ont.—A 30-year-old woman from Brantford, Ont., is dead following a crash Thursday afternoon west of Ancaster.
The OPP says Sunita Paul was eastbound on Highway 403 (near Alberton Rd.) when she crossed the grassy ditch median into the westbound lanes.
Police say she was killed instantly when her small Toyota collided with a transport truck and trailer at about 1:15 p.m.
Police say they don’t yet know why Paul crossed into the opposing lanes and are asking any witnesses to come forward.
The truck driver was not injured in the collision.
