Rob Ford makes first public appearance since beginning cancer treatment
TORONTO—Rob Ford did some door knocking last night in the Etobicoke riding where he hopes to regain the council seat he held before becoming mayor.
It was his first public appearance since he entered hospital earlier this month for treatment of a rare form of cancer.
Ford was allowed to go home this week after undergoing his first round of chemotherapy.
Tonight he’s expected to attend a public party being held by brother Doug, who is campaigning to succeed his younger sibling as mayor.
The Ford Fest barbecue is being held in a parking lot in northwest Toronto.
