Karylle speaks up about Dingdong, Marian engagement

MANILA — Karylle said that she would rather stay mum regarding the engagement of ex-boyfriend Dingdong Dantes and primetime star Marian Rivera.

According to the “It’s Showtime” co-host, she does not want to comment any further regarding the public engagement of the two.

“I am not involved in their engagement, so I would rather stay out of it,” said Karylle during the press conference of Status Hair Salon which she now endorses.

Karylle and Dantes separated in 2008 after being together for three years. That time, rumors have been circulating about the link of Rivera to the issue because the latter just finished working with Dantes for a TV series where they were introduced as love team.

“If I have something to say, I would rather not say it because weddings are beautiful affairs,” said Karylle who tied the knot to Sponge Cola lead vocalist Yael Yuzon last March. “Weddings are wonderful. I’m still in a wedding high.”

She added, “Everyone deserves to have a wonderful wedding, and that’s what I’ve experienced. Until now, I can’t stop talking about our wedding. I even put up a blog about the wedding because I still can’t get over it. So please let’s not ruin the moment for them.

”

On another note, Karylle mentioned that she and Yuzon are planning for a possible pregnancy in the future. They are still “trying to perfect” their relationship as husband and wife so they can fully devote their time to their child.
