Singaporean exec dies after jumping from condo unit

MANILA — A Singaporean executive died after jumping from his 22nd-floor condominium unit in Taguig City, according to an Inquirer Radio report.

The victim was identified as Qiao Sheng Zhang, 28, and a manager in a business process outsourcing (BPO) firm.

Police reports indicated that Zhang called a friend in Singapore and relayed his suicidal plans before eventually leaping off the condo unit inCrescent Park Residences in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The friend from Singapore tried to contact another common friend to warn about Zhang’s plans.

But Zhang already jumped off the building before she could reach the condo unit.

The police are now investigating on the victim’s motive.
