Govt of Pakistan appoints retired judge as interim PCB chairman, fresh elections within month
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan—The Pakistan government has appointed a retired judge as interim chairman of the country’s cricket board to oversee fresh elections for chairman.
Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt told the Supreme Court on Thursday that Jamshed Ali will conduct the election within a month under the new constitution of the PCB.
Butt also said that the management committee of the PCB has also been dissolved and a new interim committee will soon be formed for the smooth conduct of elections.
