MANILA – Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo finally admitted that she is now in a relationship with actor Matteo Guidicelli, and fellow-celebrities couldn’t be happier.

Following some months of rumours flying off the mill, Geronimo admitted on Thursday night that she and Guidicelli are indeed involved in a romantic relationship.

The 25-year-old actress-singer made the revelation at a Thanksgiving party for “Maybe This Time,” her feature film co-starring Coco Martin.

Industry colleagues and fellow showbiz stars, like Martin Nievera, Bianca Gonzales, Slater Young and Vice Ganda, took to social media to express their happiness over the news.

“Before I close my eyes I just wanted to say “I am so proud of my dear sweet Sarah G! Good girl love u!,” Martin Nievera said.

“Kahit di kami close, SOBRANG SAYA ko for Sarah G that she finally is able to have a relationship, at sa napakabait na si Matteo!!,” Bianca Gonzalez enthused.

“Finally! Sarah G has a boyfriend. I’m so happy for her. This beautiful lady has been working extra hard and truly deserves to be happy,” Vice Ganda tweeted.

“SARAH G & MATTEO G. (love, love, love),” Kiray Celis said.

“It’s out! Yey! Super happy for you, @JustSarahG and @mateoguidicelli ! Kayo na! (love),” Christine Babao tweeted.

Geronimo spilled the beans about her involvement with Guidicelli when quizzed as to why he calls her “mahal (love,)” something to which she herself admitted.

“Hindi naman maganda na magtatawagan kaming ‘mahal’ kung wala kaming relasyon, ‘di ba? So, opo,” the actress-singer said.
