More charges laid against Winnipeg man alleged to have faked being doctor

WINNIPEG — More charges have been laid against a 66-year old man who is alleged to have faked being a doctor.

RCMP say Leslie Colmer is now facing 25 charges of fraud and two charges of assault.

He’s due to appear in court Monday.

RCMP allege Colmer pretended to be a doctor, made house calls and prescribed drugs, though he does not have a medical licence.

He’s alleged to have seen patients in Winnipeg, Steinbach, Selkirk, Brandon and Beausejour.
