Ang in talks with Gozon in buying GMA

It was confirmed that San Miguel Corporation and Philippine Airlines’ president Ramon Ang and GMA chairman Atty. Felipe Gozon are in talks over GMA network.
Gozon made the confirmation during the company’s first quarter briefing, while Ang sent a text message to ANC, which read, “Yes, in talks.”
Speculations that Ang will buy the network started in March.
Earlier this year, PLDT chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan also expressed his interest in buying a minority stake in GMA Network Inc.
