PH Consulate General in Los Angeles hosts lecture on Dr. Jose Rizal for Pepperdine University students

The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles lectures on Dr. Jose Rizal for Pepperdine University students at the Conference Room of the Philippine Consulate General on March 28.

Acting Head of Consulate General Imelda Panolong presented a lecture to 26 students of Modern Asian Political Philosophy from Pepperdine University led by Political Science Professor Joel Fetzer on Dr. Jose Rizal’s life and influence in the Philippines with a general overview of society and government in the country.  From Professor Fetzer’s class, 11 of the undergraduates are reading about Dr. Jose Rizal’s life and works with focus on present life and politics in the Philippines.
