John Lloyd involved in a bike accident

Award-winning actor John Lloyd Cruz met a bike accident on Thursday, February 20, while doing a shoot for ABS-CBN’s station ID in Mount Pinatubo.

A report by ABS-CBNnews.com said that Cruz was riding on a bike when he fell on the ground. It added that the actor, after receiving immediate medical treatment, had four stitches for a wound under his nostril.

In a statement sent to Yahoo! Philippines, ABS-CBN and Star Magic said:

“John Lloyd Cruz had a minor bike accident during a shoot and he has undergone immediate medical treatment. He is fine and in good condition.

Angelica Panganiban was present at the shoot but was not part of the scene and not involved in the accident.”

Upon hearing the news, netizens offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the actor.
