PH embassy in Cyprus congratulates new ambassador to the Philippines

Philippine Non-Resident Ambassador to Cyprus Meynardo LB. Montealegre congratulates Mr. Pantelakis D. Eliades, Political Director of Cyprus’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), on the latter’s appointment as Non-Resident Ambassador to the Philippines.

Ambassador Eliades will be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

During Ambassador Montealegre’s visit to Cyprus on January 10, the two ambassadors discussed a wide range of bilateral matters including a proposed political consultations mechanism, proposed agreements on social security and on visa waiver for diplomatic and official passport holders, and plans for the 35^th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

Ambassador Montealegre also exchange pleasantries with Ambassador Petros Kestoras, MFA Director of Schengen and Consular Affairs.
