This was the singer’s reaction on a post that she quote retweeted from her Filipino fan group, Mariah Carey Philippines.
Sharing a photo of Cadena, the group said in a Tweet that he was one of their “best loved” members and Carey’s “biggest fans.” Carey’s photo can even be seen as Cadena’s current header on Twitter.
“He will be remembered as a generous, kind, loving & humble human being,” Mariah Carey Philippines said.
Cadena’s passing was confirmed in a post on his official Facebook account on Friday, September 4, a few weeks before his 27th birthday. No further details, including the cause of his death, have been released yet.
“My family and I ask for your prayers, respect, and privacy during this time,” the post read.

Aside from sharing laughter with people, Cadena never forgot to share his blessings and extend help to others. He was one of the personalities who stepped up to help his kababayans during the COVID-19 pandemic, donating personal protective equipment (PPE) to medical frontliners in Parañaque, according to his vlog last April.
